1. What Field Provisions Is

Field Provisions is a directory and messaging platform that connects coaches, schools, and athletic programs ("Coaches") with independent businesses that sell goods and services to sports teams ("Vendors"). We help you find each other and exchange quote requests — we are not a party to any purchase, contract, or transaction between a Coach and a Vendor.

2. No Guarantee of Vendors or Coaches

Vendors are independent businesses, not employees, agents, or partners of Field Provisions. We do not vet, endorse, insure, or guarantee the quality, pricing, licensing, delivery, or conduct of any Vendor, and we do not guarantee that any Coach who contacts a Vendor will complete a purchase. Any agreement, payment, delivery, refund, or warranty is strictly between the Coach and the Vendor. Field Provisions is not responsible for the outcome of any transaction.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. Coach accounts are intended for coaches, athletic staff, boosters, and school/organization representatives. Vendor accounts are intended for businesses offering products or services to athletic programs.

4. Reviews & Content

Reviews must reflect the reviewer's genuine experience. Fake, incentivized, defamatory, or unrelated reviews are prohibited and may be removed. You may not review your own vendor listing. By posting a review, listing, or other content, you grant Field Provisions a license to display it within the app. You are solely responsible for content you submit.

5. Vendor Listings & Featured Placement

Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their own listing (pricing, description, contact info, promotions). Field Provisions may offer paid "Featured" or "Pro" placement; featured placement reflects a paid promotional arrangement, not an endorsement of quality by Field Provisions.

6. Fees & Payment (Future)

Some features of Field Provisions (such as Featured placement or Pro vendor tools) may require payment of a subscription or listing fee, as described at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Field Provisions does not process payments for goods or services exchanged between Coaches and Vendors.

7. Prohibited Conduct

No spam, harassment, fraud, scraping, impersonation, or use of the platform for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Field Provisions is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Field Provisions and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from a transaction, communication, or relationship between a Coach and a Vendor.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Field Provisions after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email, password (encrypted), role (coach or vendor), and school/organization. Vendors additionally provide business details such as phone, email, website, categories, sports served, and photos. When you request a quote or write a review, we store that content along with your profile information.

How We Use It

We use your information to operate the directory, connect Coaches and Vendors, display reviews and listings, send account-related messages (like email confirmation), and — where configured — to notify a Vendor by email when they receive a quote request (including the requesting Coach's name, school/organization, and contact email), and to confirm to the Coach that the Vendor was notified, so the two of you can connect directly.

What We Share

Your name, school/organization, and message contents are shared with the specific Vendor(s) you contact, and vice versa, so the two of you can communicate. Vendor listing information (business name, categories, contact info) is public within the app. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Storage

Data is stored with our database provider (Supabase) using industry-standard security practices. Photos are stored in secure cloud storage. We retain data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations.

Your Choices

You can edit your vendor listing, remove favorites, and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. You may also request a copy of the data we hold about you.

Children's Privacy

Field Provisions is intended for coaches, athletic staff, and vendor businesses — not for use by children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
